PLEASURELAND SOUTHPORT

Ok this was the third time i had come to Southport to ride Traumatizer and both times before it had been shut so i drove to Blackpool instead. But this time it was open so in we went.

Pleasureland is a small compact park and even though it was hot, it was very quiet which was a surprise.

As the park is small it wont take you a long time to get around so plenty of re-rides for us today.

So first things first off to Traumatizer.

so18

This ride really stands out in this park as everything else is dwarfed by it

so19

With 6 inversions there was enough for any upsidedown junkie.

so20

It is a fast ride a bit bumpy but no where nere as bumpy as say Colossus at Thorpe park, so it was a really good ride.

so21

Traumatizer i think is one of the best inverts we have in the uk after the B&M's OF Tussards.

so22

With speed and inversions this is one of the most exciting rides around in the uk now.

so23

If you get chance to go to Southport be sure to ride this coaster you won't be dissapointed.

so6

Cyclone is the big woody of the two in the park and has an S shape lift hill a lot of warp factor going on there

so7

It wasn't bad a bit slow, but a nice bunny hop section at the end just before the station.

so8

This ride had the longest queues of the day as they were only running one car.

so13

King Solomons Mine is sort of like wild mouse in Blackpool but a lot bumpier, the air time was very good but hurt.

so14

With only a seatbelt under you armpits it makes it feel unsafe but isn't bad.

so28

Wild Cat was stuffed into the corner of the park.

so25

Wild Cat was the smoothest Pinfari coaster i have been on so far, i was quite shocked how nice it rode.

so26

We had a few re-rides on this as it was so good.

so27

I have ridden a few of these Pinfari rides and this was the best of all of them.

so1

Just for you credit whores out there Big Apple coaster.......

so2

These rides are so commen around theme parks these days they should have an award for the most ridden kiddie coaster by adults...

so15

Spaceshot launch ride.

so16

It didn't seem as big as some of the other shot rides we have ridden, but it did reach the top on the second bounce which was pretty cool.

so12

Ah what is a park without a Pirateship.

so3

One of the laltest attractions in Southport is The Big Wheel .

so10

The Lost Dinosaus of the Sahara big queues for this ride.

so9

Your classic ghost train.

so11

Tagada is the usual people mover ride.

so4

Flying Camels what next PIGS? .

so17

Tina and wes just love the Pink Panther.

so5

Carousels are the same in most places and here is another. .

so24

Cattapiller i remember these rides at the old travelling fairs when people used to make out under the cover. ... Overal Southport was a good little park and as they were only charging £10 to get in it was a bargin.
