On the 17th of june we went to bobbejaanland in Belgium, not as well known as Walabi World (ex Six Flags Belgium), untill now.

This park has added three new attractions two thrill and one family ride and it is starting to put itself on the euro theme park map..

The name Bobbejaanland comes from Bobbejaan Schoepen is the founder of the Bobbejaanland park.

10.15 AM Carl and Shane patiently waiting for the rest of the Don't Look Downers who were late arriving because they had been drinking until 5am!

Bobbejaanland is a very green park even generating some of their own electricity with this giant wind turbine.

First ride once through the gate is the Santa Maria, a half pipe pirate ship.

The only ride we had to queue for all day was Typhoon, one of the park's newest attractions.

The lift hill It takes you up at 90 degrees then halfway slows you down to almost a complete stop.

Then it takes you to the top And drops you at 95 degrees!

Then straight into the loop followed by three more inversions and two banked high G turns.

It took Tina 5 minutes to climb up the twisting rope ladder and 10 seconds to come down the slide!

This was a very quick people mover.

Troika a sort of Octopus ride.

Bobbejaanlands low budget Thunder Mountain Railroad.

Guess who came last in the race on the hyper slide?

We all enjoyed the air time and G's on this one..

This is a lot bigger than the version installed at Drayton Manor.

The girls enjoyed the ride but the boys had to talk about all the technical stuff (yawn).

The El Rio water ride has one of the most unique sections we have ever seen.

At first it seems like any other rapids ride.

But then you go into a raging wirlpool and drop down into a tunnel.

As usual riders come out the other side rather damp.

Speedy Bob welcomes you to the ride.

Its a mouse ride with two identical but opposite tracks.

This was a really smooth and quick ride for a mouse.

For some reason they were only running one track that day.

Stiil it looks a similar track layout to Primeval Whirl at Animal Kingdom, Disney World.

Bobby Drop a short but quick waterchute..

Big Bang strange name for a water slide..

Steep, Fast, Airtime, NUFF SAID.

Even though Carl is soaked he is showing us where most of the water went.

Wild Water Slide is your classic log flume.

Oki doki the newest family attraction and not a bad size for a kid.

This Big wheel was built in Germany and is the only one of its kind..

Shane hijacks the the ice cream cart and makes a quick getaway.

But the Bobbejaanland police catch him quickly and throw him straight in jail, where his hands and arms grow to an abnormal size.
