There are rumours that the famous Barry Island Pleasure Park will be closing at the end of the 2005 summer season so we felt it our duty to pay a visit to our local park and record it for posterity

Viper. The park's only coaster.

It's a Pinfari Z40 and although it is 15 years old it has been at the park for 10 years.l

It's always popular with the punters........

It has some very good helix turns.

And some excellent air time!

There ia a great view from up there.

I know its a Pinfari, but for some reason i have ridden a few Z40's now and they are one of the best Pinfari make.

Cage, spinning, stuck to the wall, you know how it goes.

Every park has to have a carousel for the kids or maybe for the scaredy cat mum's!

And no British seaside park is complete without Dodgems.

The chance to drive like you stole it and not a cop car in sight!

Evolution. A topsy turvy spinning ride.

Once the OTSR's if you can call them that are locked the cars tilt backwards.

It spins and swings......

And over you go!

Kiddie aeroplanes Nuff Said.

The not so scary Haunted Mine Train. But you can scream if you want too.

Another kiddie ride.

The Jungle Boat Ride - now closed

The ever popular Log Flume.

Big splash! very wet.

There's always a queue for it.

The little kids, big kids and fish for some reason just love to get wet.

Magic Carpet ride with a roof.

Sadly the Pirate Ship looks more like the wreck of The Titanic. It used to be a great ride spent all my pocket money on it when i was a kid.

And is closed for very good reason, it is being saved for underwater exploration.

Power house, it goes fast and spins then you puke.

Tea for two?

Superstar spins and rotates you 360 degrees int two directions.

Twister - people mover.

Kiddie Train. This park has always catered well for the younger members of the family and it will be a sad day if it does close for good this year.

And last, but by no means least ,The Waltzer.
