We arrived at Thorpe park right at the beginning of the season, it was very quiet.

There can't have been more than 300 people in the park so we went straight for Colossus. We had to queue for all of 30 seconds to get on.

Next we moved onto Nemesis Inferno the sister coaster of Nemesis at Alton Towers. It's not as fast as the Alton Towers version but still had a few tricks to throw at us. We didnt have to queue at all for this ride either.

It was the same for every other ride, it was like we had the park to ourselves, this made our day very enjoyable as no queues meant lots of rides to be had, and boy did we take advantage of it.

This park is a lot smaller than Alton Towers but is well themed and has some great rides, we recommend everyone to visit here.

Colossus

This coaster has almost every type of twist and turn seen on a coaster and makes for one hell of a ride.

The first drop isn't much to write home about but what happens next is.

The cobra roll is in a great position for filming and photos, you can stand right under it.

Barrel rolling-this bit of the ride actually hurts as the coaster travels very slowly through this section

Nemesis Inferno

Nemesis inferno is the sister ride of Nemesis in Alton Towers

It is your usual B&M coaster, big tracks and four seats

This ride makes full use of the limited area it is situated in.

It has an unusual start to this ride as the lift is in the second quarter of the ride.

This part of the ride reminds me of the DUELLING DRAGONS track in Orlando.

This ride is much smoother and has more g's than Colossus

Still it drops you at a hell of a rate

Don't go on this ride if you don't want to get wet as you will get soaked through.

Spinny roundy spinny this is what you get on The Samurai

Slammer

Slammer was still being tested the day we were at the park

The only time we saw it spin was when we were riding Colossus.

The test dummies were the only ones to enjoy Slammer today

Vortex

Good ride but if you have a chest size of 48 inches or over forget it as the restraints won't close.

Thorpe is a great little park with good rides and lots to do, we would recomend it to anyone.
